Credit Unions for Kids

About the Program

Credit Unions for Kids is a nonprofit collaboration of credit unions, chapters, leagues and associations, and business partners from across the country, engaged in fundraising activities to benefit 170 Children’s Miracle Network (CMN) Hospitals. Adopted as our movement’s charity of choice, credit unions are the third largest sponsor of CMN Hospitals.

Every single dollar donated by members of the credit union movement stays local. That means that 100 percent of donations goes back to the CMN Hospital that serves your community, your members. CMN Hospitals treat millions of children every year; in fact, it is the world’s largest children’s charity.

A History in the Northwest

The credit union community in the Northwest has played a vital role in the success of Credit Unions for Kids program both locally and nationally. It was local leaders that introduced the Credit Unions for Kids concept to CUNA who eventually partnered with Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals to take the program nationally. Locally, the credit union movement has made substantial contributions to the six CMN Hospitals throughout the region and has established a legacy of caring, assuring that hospitalized kids in the Northwest will have the finest healthcare available.
